    Corner structures: Red sandstone, variable sized blocks of gray limestone. [mixed or contradiction?]

    Mortar application and content: Vertical pyramids. The horizontal mortar has a pointed outer edge, while there are raised columns of mortar between the stones which in some instances resemble pyramids.

    Types and uses of stones: Small, various colors. In the front and right walls are five rows of stones per quoin, while there are four per quoin on the left side and back. Stones are all smooth and approximately the same size, but vary in color.

    Types and choice of windows: Lintels red cut stone. Lintels over the front windows are made of blocks of gray limestone, while in the back they are wood. [Contradiction?]

    At 2203 Walworth-Penfield Road, a composite house has portions of its first floor walls made of cobblestone. The quoins are variable sized blocks of gray limestone. In the front and right walls are five rows of stones per quoin, while there are four per quoin on the left side and back. Stones are all smooth and approximately the same size, but vary in color. Lintels over the front windows are made of blocks of gray limestone, while in the back they are wood. The horizontal mortar has a pointed outer edge, while there are raised columns of mortar between the stones which in some instances resemble pyramids. Roudabush Survey page 115
